Turning Alcohol Into Ice Cream
With the sun shining, nothing is better than a cold alcoholic beverage, if you are above age! I decided to turn alcohol into ice cream! Hope you enjoy and let me know if you choose to create your own ice cream and what alcohol you decide to use!
Bottled Ice Poles
For this ice pole, just get your favourite alcohol drink. It would work best using something fruity like a cider or WKD rather than a beer, but if you try a beer ice lolly, then let me know how it turns out!!
I tried WKD and Smirnoff Ice as it's got a bit more flavour but would also be refreshing in the summer under the hot sun. Simply pour your chosen drink into an ice pole mould and then leave it to freeze. Try and choose a drink that has a strong flavour because when the drink freezes, it tends to lose a bit of flavour as the liquid expands into ice. Science!!
This ice lolly gets a simple 6/10!!
Pink Gin Ice Lolly
This one was the most fun to make as I got the concept of a pink gin and lemonade and then just turned it into an ice lolly. All you need to do is pour a couple of shots of pink gin and then fill the rest with lemonade. To make it even better, you could add a few slices of fruit as they will float to the top which will then be the bottom of the ice lolly. If you want a stronger flavour of pink gin, then add an extra shot depending on how big the ice lolly mould is.
Overall, I give this a stupendous 9/10!!
Winter Woo Woo
Another cocktail that is also great in ice lolly form. To make this following cocktail, you will require the following ingredients:
- Peach Snapps
- Vodka
- Cranberry Juice
Overall, I'll give it a solid 7/10!!
Byeeee :)
